This course is designed to teach learners to apply the Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) body of knowledge from the 21st edition of the Fire Protection Handbook (FPH) in preparation for the certification exam.

The goal of this training is to teach learners to apply the Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) body of knowledge from the 21st edition of the Fire Protection Handbook (FPH) in preparation for the certification exam. Areas of focus include; FPH navigation, safety in the built environment, information and analysis for fire protection and fire science, fire prevention, facility fire hazard management, organizing for fire and rescue services, detection and alarm, fire suppression, and confining fires.

Course Objectives include

• Locate requirements within the Fire Protection Handbook.
• Apply the CFPS exam body of knowledge to realistic situations.
