This training will allow you to locate, interpret, and correctly apply the requirements in NFPA 1, Fire Code, including topics such as; NFPA 1 purpose, scope, and navigation, classification of occupancy, features of fire protection, fire protection systems, means of egress, fire department service delivery concurrency evaluation, safeguarding construction, and wildland urban interface, fire department access and water supply, combustible waste, occupancy fire safety, special occupancies, and hazardous materials.

Course objectives include

• Navigate NFPA 1 to find applicable requirements related to hazards created by fire,
  explosion, and dangerous conditions
• Examine the requirements of NFPA 1 as they relate to fire and life safety and property
