Meseel Mixed Use Development

This project envisions a landmark business and lifestyle destination in the heart of Riyadh’s Commercial District. The complex comprises 18 distinct buildings, including a 10-story administrative tower with a cinema, 14 Grade-A office buildings, a 5-star business hotel, and a residential complex.

The project is a “mixed-use” giant: we had to simultaneously design safety strategies for sleeping occupants (hotel/residential), high-density crowds (cinema/retail), and flexible office spaces, all while ensuring the beautiful landscaping.

Red Helmet Engineering developed a flexible “Core and Shell” fire safety design. This allows the future office tenants to customize their interiors easily while guaranteeing that the base building remains fully compliant with Civil Defense codes from day one.
